Questions & research
Find an answer you can follow.
Ask for an explanation, a comparison or research. I can search the web, read pages and cite the sources I use.
One assistant · Web & Telegram
I’m an AI assistant you can talk to on the website or in Telegram. Ask questions, share documents, connect a group, and turn what you know into something useful.
Start with the free Aleph profile. You’ll need Telegram to sign in.
01 / Get to know me
Write in your own words and your preferred language. Tell me the result you want, give me the material I need, and we can work from there.
Questions & research
Ask for an explanation, a comparison or research. I can search the web, read pages and cite the sources I use.
Your documents
Share Word files, PDFs, spreadsheets, slides or images. Ask me to summarise, extract figures, compare versions or explain a clause.
Finished work
Ask for a report, spreadsheet, presentation or diagram. I deliver files you can download. Image generation uses your available image allowance.
Continuity
Keep conversations and decisions together. Tell me a preference to remember, ask what I remember, or change it. Web and Telegram use the same account and record.
I use the material you share or connect and are allowed to access. Connecting a group makes its available messages and files usable as sources; it does not give me access to all of your Telegram.
02 / Get authorised
Your Telegram account is the bridge into Aleph. You sign in with a temporary Web Key, then return to the website to work.
Visit thealeph.tech and choose Open Aleph. The sign-in window says “Enter your Web Key.”
Use the Telegram link in that window, or open @AlephManagerBot. Tap Start if this is your first visit. Your free account is created when you start.
In that private chat, send /login or choose Web Key from the menu. Copy the key. It works once and expires after 15 minutes.
Paste the key into the sign-in window and choose Link account. You’re ready to write your first request in Home.
03 / Try one real task
You can begin in Home without connecting anything. Type a question, or attach a file. These are examples to adapt to your own work.
With a document
“Summarise this PDF. Pull out the deadlines, open questions and decisions I need to make.”Attach your PDF first.
With a question
“Research this topic. Give me a short briefing and links to the sources.”Name your topic and the depth you need.
With a preference
“Remember that I prefer short summaries, then the detail when I ask for it.”Ask what I remember whenever you want.
04 / Connect your sources
An Origin is a connected source, such as a Telegram group. In the web app, you’ll find these under Groups I listen to. Linking lets me use a group’s available chat, files and links for the conversation you choose.
In Telegram, add @AlephManagerBot to a group you belong to and are allowed to connect. Ask the group administrator if you cannot add members. Let the group know you are connecting an AI assistant.
After the bot has joined, send a message in the group from the same Telegram account you used to sign in. Aleph needs to receive a message from you there to recognise your membership.
In the left sidebar, create or open a Space for your project, then open a conversation inside it (listed under Contexts). Link the group there, rather than in Home.
Choose Groups I listen to to open Listen to a group. Find your group and choose Link. The action becomes Unlink when it is linked.
Try: “Summarise the recent decisions in this group. Cite the messages and list the unresolved questions.” Its available files can also be read as sources.
In our private chat, open a conversation in a space, then choose Options → Artifacts → Origins and tap the group. Do the linking in the private chat or on the website, not inside the group.
Check that the bot has joined, that it can receive your group messages, and that you are using the same Telegram identity on the website. Send a fresh message in the group, then close and reopen Groups I listen to. If the bot cannot read messages, ask the group administrator to check its Telegram permissions. If it still does not appear, tell Aleph what you tried.
Use Space in the mobile header to reach your spaces and conversations. Use the three-line menu at the top right to open the panel with your profile, settings and Groups I listen to.
05 / Choose what fits
Your profile is your level of access. Your User Profile card is where you see it, change language, check usage and find upgrades.
For getting started
The free profile for work you ask me to do.
For ongoing support
Everything in Aleph, with help that keeps up with your day.
For deeper workflows
Everything in Plus, with more ways to get work done.
User Profile → Billing & usage → Upgrade
Open this section in the web app to see your available plans, prices, allowance and reset date. Payment uses Telegram Stars. Extra credit adds usage without changing your profile; a membership upgrade adds the features of that plan.
With Plus or Pro, you control unsolicited suggestions in Settings → Proactive. A personal computer needs the Aleph Node app; local models use that computer’s resources and do not consume your hosted allowance. You can find the app in User Profile.
You’re ready
A question, a document, a conversation. We can start there.
Need a hand? Ask “How do I…?” or type help. On Telegram, send /help.
